Our role

Mobility Engineer Finder is a free directory of local repairers across the UK. We organise information published by independent repair businesses. We do not carry out repairs, diagnose faults, make bookings or guarantee workmanship.

What we check

Each listing links to the business’s own service information and shows when we checked it. Website research is not accreditation, a visit to the business or confirmation of current availability. Our starter directory does not include every repairer.

Why a business appears

The finder checks your UK postcode and filters published equipment and visit options. Workshop searches show known bases within 30 miles in a straight line. Home-visit searches use published service areas; nearby businesses with unclear travel boundaries are explicitly marked for you to check. Results with known locations appear nearest first, followed by options without a measured distance. Distances are approximate postcode-to-postcode measurements, not driving routes or a quality ranking. Your exact postcode, make/model, fault and urgency still need confirmation with the repairer. Fault and urgency help prepare your conversation; they do not prove a repairer can attend.

Free listings, direct contact

Visitors and listed businesses can use the directory without paying us. We do not sell positions or send your search to repairers. You choose who to contact and agree any work and payment directly.

How we intend to support the directory

We may introduce clearly labelled display advertising to support the service. No adverts are running at present. Advertising would not change which repairers qualify for a listing or their order in search results.
